This Will Destroy You announce Australian tour supports

THIS WILL DESTROY YOU (USA) ANNOUNCE SUPPORTS FOR AUSTRALIAN TOUR

THIS WILL DESTROY YOU have announced the supports for their first ever Australian tour dates in March 2013.

Perth piano-driven progressive rock quartet TANGLED THOUGHTS OF LEAVING will provide support for the tour, ahead of departing for their first European tour in April, including Belgium's Dunk Festival. TToL have amassed a loyal cult following nationwide after the release of their debut 'Deaden The Fields' in 2011. The band are currently promoting the release of their latest EP 'Failed By Man and Machine' and will follow up with their second album later in 2013.

Local indie rock troupe ARROWS will open proceedings at The Zoo in Brisbane, whilst beloved underground post-metal outfit WE LOST THE SEA join the bill at the Annandale Hotel in Sydney. Melbourne's FOURTEEN NIGHTS AT SEA will open the first Melbourne show at the Northcote Social Club as well as supporting in Adelaide, whilst Sydney prog-post rockers DUMBSAINT follow up their recent Twelve Foot Ninja support by opening the second NSC show in Melbourne and at the Rosemount in Perth. Up and coming instrumental group Canidae round out the lineup, opening the final show of the tour at the Crown and Anchor in Adelaide.

Known for their destructive live sound and influential brand of ambient-rock, This Will Destroy's tour follows the release of their acclaimed record 'Tunnel Blanket' through Australian independent label Hobbledehoy.

Formed during the mid-00's in San Marcos, Texas, the band has enjoyed a meteoric rise since the release of their debut 'Young Mountain' in 2006, touring the world consistently over the past 6 years.

Their dedicated work ethic has spurred the band on to reach pinnacles previously thought unattainable by an instrumental act – debuting at #25 on the Billboard Heatseeker chart and combined worldwide sales for their catalogue exceeding 100,000 copies.
