Su Youtube il nuovo video.   Uscirà domani, 17 marzo, Bee Bee Sea, l'esordio omonimo debutto del trio mantovano. Sarà disponibile in vinile e in versione digitale ed è pubblicato da Glory Records, neonata etichetta gestita dalla band.   I Bee Bee Sea sono una band dall'attitudine garage, puntano dritti al cuore senza lasciare scampo. Attaccano ritornelli che teletrasportano nel Big Sur californiano per poi, inconsciamente, scaraventarti a Manchester o Nashville. Se i Black Lips fossero nati in terra d'Albione forse suonerebbero così. Ai Bee Bee Sea piace attraversare i generi e le epoche, attingere dai ricordi, ancora freschi, dell'adolescenza passata a consumare i dischi di Oasis, Velvet Underground, Nirvana e Cramps e mescolarli con tutto quello che gli è capitato nel giradischi dopo. COLD CAVE ANNOUNCE 'FULL COLD MOON' LP RELEASE

Cold Cave is the creative rebirth of acclaimed musician and writer Wesley Eisold. Cutting his teeth in underground bands American Nightmare (Give Up The Ghost) and Some Girls, Eisold's body of work has truly effected a generation of listeners. Through constant cross-pollination Eisold has gained mass appeal, influencing underground and popular culture with his ever evolving artistic vision.

 

With an already prolific number of releases, Cold Cave has become a name synonymous with the contemporary resurgence of Darkwave and Synth Pop sub-genres. Propelling Cold Cave to perform at world class museums The Getty and the Guggenheim, as well as performances with legends Sonic Youth, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Nine Inch Nails, among others.

 

Deathwish are proud to announce Full Cold Moon from Cold Cave, now for the first time on 12"LP vinyl format (a CD collection was released on Eisold's Heartworm imprint in 2014).  Full Cold Moon is a compilation of EP recordings originally individually released in 2013, now presented as one collection; A Little Death to Laugh, Oceans With No End, God Made the World, Black Boots, and Nausea, the Earth and Me. Notably this is also the first vinyl appearance of the song "Dandelion" as well as the entire Nausea, the Earth and Me EP (previously only available on limited CD and Digital formats). This is Cold Cave at it's most artistically skeletal, similar to the celebrated Cremations and Love Comes Close releases. Twelve minimal compositions driven by Eisold's synth derived hooks, alluring vocals, and compelling character.

Dalle stelle agli abissi, andata e ritorno. A tre anni esatti di distanza dal folgorante esordio "Stars Reach the Abyss" marchiato Foolica, i New Candys ritornano sulle scene con il nuovo "New Candys As Medicine", in uscita per l'etichetta di Minneapolis Picture In My Ear in formato vinile, cd e digitale ed un'edizione deluxe in vinile pubblicata dalla londinese Fuzz Club, che ha appena incluso un loro brano nella "Reverb Conspiracy", compilation annuale con le migliori band psych rock europee co-prodotta dall'Austin Psych Fest.

Dieci gemme di puro psych-rock'n'roll intriso di garage anni Sessanta e melodie soniche: è questa la "ricetta" del quartetto veneziano, un nuovo tuffo in quel vortice sonoro fatto di oscure discese in baratri lisergici e siderali ascese in galassie punteggiate di astri. Mondi lontani sulla carta, eppure vicinissimi nell'immaginario dei New Candys, qui impegnati nella prova più ispirata e visionaria della loro ancora giovane carriera.

Delimitato ai due opposti dalle vibrazioni psych di "Thrill or Trip" ed "Endless Deadline", l'album si colora a ogni brano di ulteriori sfumature, dalle vibrazioni smaccatamente sixties di "Song for the Mutant" alle placide derive di "Bones on Fire", passando attraverso lo shoegaze di "Aphrodite in Leather" e il rock'n'roll caleidoscopico di "Jolly Pan".

Registrato tra Brescia e Treviso, "New Candys As Medicine" è stato mixato da John Wills (Loop) ed è stato anticipato lo scorso 19 gennaio dal singolo "Dark Love" (qui il video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2VWF0T0F94). A breve verrà annunciato un tour europeo.

BIO SINTETICA

Formatisi nel 2008 tra Treviso e Venezia, i New Candys sono Fernando Nuti (voce, chitarra e sitar), Diego Menegaldo (chitarra e voce), Stefano Bidoggia (basso) e Dario Lucchesi (batteria). Il loro album di esordio è "Stars Reach The Abyss", pubblicato nel marzo del 2012 da Foolica Records. "New Candys As Medicine" uscirà il 16 marzo 2015 per Picture In My Ear (US) e Fuzz Club (UK).

La giovane cantautrice italo-brasiliana, irpina d'adozione, presenterà le suites emotive del suo primo lavoro discografico targato Burattino di Asterischi: un viaggio musicale tra il reale e l'onirico, tra il tempo e il vento. "Respirare vedrai può salvare… e con il tempo dimenticare", è così che si affaccia nel gioco musicale dell'artista il burattino di asterischi, una figura sospesa tra presente e favola, in attesa di bussare alle porte della vita. "Burattino di Asterischi", pubblicato dall'etichetta Terzo Millennio/Divinazione Milano, fonde in modo originale la musica tradizionale brasiliana con i freschi e poetici suoni del cantautorato italiano. L'artista, attraverso le parole dei suoi brani, ripercorre una ricerca intima e personale, interpretando la realtà con occhi diversi. Un concept album elegante e raffinato, in grado di trascinare tra metafore e fantasia chiunque si appresti ad ascoltarlo. Durante la performance di Civitavecchia, Marirosa Fedele sarà accompagnata dai musicisti Lorenzo Petruzziello alla batteria, Mario Grifa al basso e Michele Penta alla chitarra. A L'Asino che Vola, a Roma, sarà possibile ascoltare Marirosa Fedele in un'originale live-session da solista; una voce e una chitarra per accompagnare gli ascoltatori in una dimensione intima ed intimista.
